2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 Texas Edition

2010 Silverado 1500 5.3L V8 2WD LT, Texas Edition. I bought the truck in 2010 from Lonestar Chevrolet in Houston, TX with 165 miles. The truck currently has about 95,000 miles.

THEBUILD

If you are from Houston, you know the road quality is very poor in many areas and flooding is a major problem. I wanted to build a truck that was able to handle those issues while still being practical to be used as a daily driver.

The truck is on a 4-inch Fabtech lift kit with 2.5 Dirt Logic coilovers, stock engine, Nitto Ridge Grapplers 33x11.5, Fuel Zephyrs wheels 17x9, MagnaFlow straight pipe exhaust, chrome delete, Morimoto XB LED headlights, custom taillights and 3rd brake light, Line-X bedliner, Royal tow hooks, True Spike Valve Stem Caps, VMS bullet antenna, Xprite license plate lights. Engine bay and undercarriage have been fully restored and painted by ADS detailing.

The process has taken several months to complete and I am still working on it. The truck performs as good as it looks. If I had to pick, my favorite part of my build is the suspension. Engine/performance and interior work is next, then cool air intake and maybe an E-85 tune. Also on my wish list: Alpine head unit and reverse cam, new speakers and sub/amp, Katzkin leather seats, and paint correction or repaint.
